How it works:
Your nopCommerce website is given a US phone number.
Customers send text messages (SMS) to that number with content looks like:
- command-parameter, where
- command can be SKU or Order
- parameter is item SKU # or order # that you want to get information.
Example: SKU-1010: asking for name, price and availability of item with SKU# 1010
or Order-101: asking for order status, payment status and shipping status of order with order # 101.
Your nopCommerce website will send a text message response with content looks like
- Name: value, Price: value, Available: True|False
- Order #: value, Order status: value, Payment status: value, Shipping status: value [date]
Example: Name: T-shirt, Price: $9.95, Available: True
or: Order#: 101, Order status: Complete, Payment status: Paid, Shipping status: Shipped 03/01/2010
